The Well Youth (MS/HS) Ministry Programs

Middle / High School Programming

The Well Youth meets at 7 pm for a little less than an hour for checking in with each other, a little teaching and prayer.

The Well Youth continues to meet via Zoom with an occasional in-person event. In April, there will be guest speakers from The Well family who will be sharing their experiences of God’s faithfulness when they’ve experienced “wilderness times”. Keep an eye on weekly emails for more details!

Obscure Southern Park Walks

The Well Youth have been invited to join other UMC youth groups for a monthly park date/walk. The Well Youth is hosting in May: 

Saturday, May 23rd from 1-3 pm.
Place TBD.

CDC recommendations will be followed with masks and social distancing. There is no charge, but families need to provide their own transportation. Each participant needs to have a Health Form on fileDOWNLOAD FORM. Email to Jen (See below), mail to The Well, or drop off at church during Sunday morning worship time.

Summer Festival for High Schoolers, July 11th – 14th, 2021

Summer Festival is a retreat for those finishing 8th – 12th grade to get away from real life, hang out with people from all across the Midwest, deepen friendships, and talk about Jesus. Students will experience games, skits, worship music, speakers, breakout sessions and small group discussion time for a unique experience that draws students closer to Jesus, each other and the leadership from their churches. 

Cost is $260/person and will be held on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College. Check out for more details and let Jen know if you’re interested in attending!


STORM’21 Camp – July 17th

Save the Date!! Well Youth in grades 7-12 are invited to spend a day safely serving Jesus by serving others at one of several sites across Minnesota, alongside other UMC youth. Our day will include morning devos and Major Group time, serving with your church as a TIM group, lunch devos, and gathering for Chapel in the church parking lot.

Confirmation Program

Confirmation is for all students in grades 8-9 who are interested in learning more about their faith and what it means to be part of a faith community. The program has started for the winter/spring of 2021. The plan is to have Confirmation later in 2021. Students are still invited to join!
